SUMMER 2012
Gutta lå inne i hovedhuset.
In the end of June we headed back to Norway. The house should have been finished, but I have to say that I was not surprised that we had to stay with my brother for 14 days before we moved in. In a way I regret that we moved in to our house after 14 days, to be honest; I had the best time in Bent and Ellen's house; I got my own little house in the garden with bathroom, bedroom and kitchen, Bent cooked to Ellen, me and the boys every day - yummy food, my clothes were washed and they even borrowed me their convertible. ☺Why move to a big house with a lot to do? Haha - next year we will rent out the house! The house is still not finish, but it is getting better. Carolin's kitchen fitted in perfect due to a really clever carpenter!
Carolin and her 3 men came in July and stayed for 3 (toooo short!) weeks. In a way it was good that they had rented a place to live since the house was a mess most of the summer. Who cares about the mess when the results will be good? Not me! Even the stone, for the kitchen, we bought in Dubai fitted in perfect.
It is a little bit hard for Carolin to enjoy her holiday without cleaning up. But after some hours rearranging the stones at Mølen she was happy as ever! |
And Holger? He was enjoying his holiday as well and he felt no need to help Carolin rearranging the stones ☺

When we have visitors we always take them to Mølen. I just love that place! And close to Mølen is Nevlunghavn, such a picturesque place! Carolin and I was around taking photos while the boys were fishing.

Lukas and Johannes. Such a pleasure to have them in Sandefjord!
Carolin, Else and Hege. The four of us had a nice and relaxing day in Sandefjord. Lunch, shopping, Preståsen and of course Galleri M!

Bent and Ellen built a nice orangery in their garden this summer. I like think its because they are taking care of my lemon tree!
We have figured out how Carolin could stay in Sandefjord forever; Marry my uncle! What to tell Holger?

So cute! Both of them!
29 of July is Gards' birthday and this year my little baby turned 11 - can't believe it!
The day was celebrated "as normal", with friends and family, hotdogs and cakes. Always nice with these gatherings!
SVALBARD(SPITSBERGEN)
In august we left for Svalbard. Had a nice evening in Tromsø with my third cousin and her family before we took a flight from Tromsø to Svalbard. We arrived in the middle of the night, but the sun was up! Midnight sun : )

This is the view from the plane when we left Svalbard 4 am with the midnightsun shining on the mountains - stunning! We will come back to say hello to the polar bears ☺
Bye, bye to Svalbard |
We are always taking walks in the nature when we are home. This photos was taken in Marum. |

I will leave Dubai on the 24th of September going to Kathmandu, Nepal. In Kathmandu I will meet Ellen, my sister in law, and 5 other ladies from Norway. Looking forward to go, but it will be hard to not see my boys in 3 weeks(help!) I am dreaming about all the photos I can take, but I am sure that the most spectacular memories will be in my head. We will have 17 days in a tent in the Makalu area. I think this is how I will look in Nepal ⇓
