My English-speaking friends;
I am sitting in Sandefjord when I am trying to put this blog together. It was so nice to come home to see family and friends, but some centimetres with snow is still on the wishing list to get a perfect Christmas. But we do have fresh air and delicious chocolate, so no complains from the north of Europe. A big and special thanks to Linda,Stenni, Magna and Petur for taking so good care of our dogs this Christmas ♥
Since the last updating of this blog we have been to Muscat, Oman. But mostly we have done our daily routines with driving, homework and cooking. Lucky me who have some hours every day that belongs to only me - I am enjoying every minutes of it as long as it lasts. Very often I am out with my camera trying to solve all its secrets. Most of the time with the camera is spent with good friends with the same interest.
Ken, the boys and I had a trip to Muscat, Oman in November. We were driving via the coast(nothing to see) to Muscat and via the mountains back which was a great trip that I would recommend.

There are more than 3000 Flamingoes in Dubai (Ras Al Khor). It is amazing to see this birds, but if you are there later than 10 am they are sleeping....
|
Most of them are sleeping after 10 am - no head and only one leg. |
|
Some of the Flamingos left their legs when leaving? : ) |
Halloween was celebrated in our house with monsters and dogs in a lovely combination.

Close to the fish marked - bad experience with smell on the Metro? |
Debra and I were invited to see where this guy kept his camels. People are very friendly, but they are not speaking English and we are not speaking Arabic. At least we can say thank you in Arabic!
I don't know how many times I have been in the desert watching the camels. They are very fascinating!

We had a great trip to the hotel Bab Al Shams out in the desert in December. It was so quiet and peaceful out there.

Peace at Bab Al Shams. |

Ready for a buffet in the desert at Bab Al Shams. And believe me; it was so cold! |
